Hello Jonathan (and anyone else at Oswald’s Mill Audio, Fleetwood Sound Company, or PROMA). If you’re reading this, it means you have received the booklet. Thank you for taking the next step into what we could call “The WTF Trio”: Who The F the made it?; Why The F did they go to all that trouble?; and What The F do they want? Good questions. I’ll try to keep the answers somewhat short (ish).

First, I did it because I love Listening to incredible music through incredible systems, and I found OMA via that love. I then discovered your YouTube videos, and went all the way down the rabbit hole. Because I seem to be equipped with a skillset that can be leveraged to make communication pieces that can help “articulate and encourage a movement or lifestyle,” I had some fun with one that resonates for me personally: Listening. What do I want? Well, I could say this is not transactional, and that would be true. But I do hope to pique your interest and get a chance to meet you sometime. I’d love to come out and tour the Fleetwood operation, maybe hear the Imperia system in DUMBO, have a coffee?

I have a sense that “marketing” and “advertising” may not be topics you view fondly. If that’s the case, just know that I don’t either. Even though you can see from the homepage of this website that my career has been spent in the “creative advertising” realm, I’ve been fortunate to have learned from the world’s best - and at this time I only work with brands and companies that give a shit. And provide things for this crazy world that do good. Within my career arc, I now see I have been extremely fortunate to work alongside true visionaries, and help “extend” their unique views. I know from my “YouTube University OMA Curriculum” that you seem to appreciate etymology (as do I). So Jonathan, what do you think of the word “visionary”? Would you consider yourself one? I bet you’d say no, but I’m quite sure that many would beg to differ.

As for my time attending “OMA YouTube University,” I’ve oriented my attention toward every single class. OK, maybe not every minute of every K3 video, but I’ve seen ‘em all. They’ve been a joy, and very illuminating. So thank you.

As the “Volume One” on the cover of the book indicates, the notions and ideas are just a start. Should you be intrigued to see where this might go, I’d love to explore it with you. I find myself navigating a chapter of this lifetime where my priority is to not force things. But to follow nudges, intuitions or “flow.” And really, that’s all I’m doing here. My hope is that, at the very least, this package I sent proves that someone out there is indeed Listening to you.
