Just days before COVID-19 landed in North America, I was inspired to launch a Creative Mentorship offering called Flying Nautilus. In the four years since, I’ve amassed well over 100 original meetings with creatives young and old, mostly over Zoom, worldwide. I offer the mentorship completely free of charge. Anyone who reaches out can schedule what I call an “office hour.” I offer mentorship for me, as much as for anyone who joins. It’s been incredibly rewarding. I’ve since folded the offering under my Ideas for Animals site, but nonetheless, it remains available as it’s a passion. Through this capacity I’ve learned to listen more deeply, know when to say less, when to pivot the conversation to what my gut might be telling me the issue is really about, and myriad other intangible bits of pure gold. | back
